Twiggy  – Founding Director

Twiggy served 14 years in the Royal Marines, completing five operational tours in Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Having personally experienced severe PTSD, he brings a deep, first-hand understanding of the challenges faced by veterans and the support they need. Twiggy’s insight, resilience, and dedication form the foundation of our mission to provide effective mental health support for those who have served.

Ajda – PTSD Therapist/Director

Adja is a registered Mental Health Nurse who has a background in forensic drug and alcohol nursing. She was appointed lead nurse for substance misuse at HMP Belmarsh managing a team of 12 specialist nurses. Developing an interest into development of psychological trauma, Adja then worked as a contractor of the Ministry of Defence at the department of the Community of Mental Health Woolwich, London. 

 

Aaron – Director

Aaron served 13 years in the Royal Marines before continuing his career as an Armed Response Officer in the Police. After being diagnosed with PTSD, he experienced first-hand the positive impact that the right support and therapy can have on recovery. Now a Director at the VOB, Aaron is committed to ensuring veterans receive the understanding, guidance, and care they need to rebuild and thrive.

Tia – Veteran’s Liaison Officer

Tia is a BA (Hons) graduate with a background in the creative and service industries. Her training in the performing arts has strengthened her ability to read people and connect on an emotional level. As our Veteran Liaison Officer and Forces Champion, she is passionate about supporting veterans and brings a fresh civilian perspective, with training in mental health awareness and veteran support.
